'A touch of Japan' was founded by Itai Eckstein in 2013, and has an experience of more than 150 successful quality boutique tours. The company is located in Japan and employs an excellent team of Japanese-speaking tour leaders, who specialize in Japan's history, lifestyle, and culture.

We build unique tailor-made tours to maximize the Japanese experience and offer a wide variety of topics for you to choose from: 'must-see' sites, 'hidden' gems, practical workshops - cooking, calligraphy, Japanese paper and more, we visit fascinating factories and local studios, interesting exhibitions- art, crafts and history, and a wide variety of trails in nature - from easy walks to mountain treks. 
Our specialty is 'boutique' tours for small groups and so we provide a perfect solution for those travelers who wish to stay away from 'organized tours' and, on the other hand, are interested in personal accompaniment of local staff.
